Robert Patrick was born to Nadine Patrick, in Marietta, Georgia. His father, Robert Patrick, is a banker. He spent his childhood in Cleveland, Ohio with his five siblings being the oldest one. Robert Patrick joined Bowling Green State University and was a track, field and football athlete there. He dropped out the university before completing the graduation.
Robert Patrick appeared in 1991’s ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ as T-1000 and he later portrayed the same role in four other projects. During 2000, he made appearance on ‘The Sopranos’ as David Scatino, a store owner. On the very popular ‘X Files’, he portrayed Agent John Doggett. In 2004, Robert Patrick made guest appearance on ‘Stargate Atlantis’. In 2005, he was seen portraying the role of father in ‘Walk the Line’ and ‘Elvis’. In ‘Lonely Street’, he appears as a comedy caper Mr. Aaron. In 2006, Robert Patrick made performance on ‘The Marine’, WWE Films production, as Rome. On ‘We Are Marshall’, he portrayed as Marshall University Head Coach Rick Tolley. His other notable appearances are on: ‘Lost’, ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ as Master Piandao. He narrates ‘Disorderly Conduct: Video on Patrol’, a Spike TV show. Robert Patrick also appeared in Meat Loaf’s music video ‘Objects in the Rear View Mirror’.
Robert Patrick is married to Barbara Patrick and has two children Samuel, a son and daughter, Austin. Every year, Robert Patrick participates in the Love Ride, a charity motorcycle ride held in Southern California. He’s the president of the Chapter 101 of the Boozefighters motorcycle club.
Role on ‘The Unit’
Robert Patrick portrays Colonel Thomas R. Ryan on ‘The Unit’ who’s a member of the 1st Special Actions Group. He has a very good relationship with Sergeant Major Ron Cheals and Sergeant Major Jonas Blane. We see in the beginning of the show that he had an affair with Master Sergeant MacDonald Gerhardt’s wife Tiffany Gerhardt. As first season comes to an end, he breaks up with her and marries Charlotte Canning. His dress patches include ‘US Army Forces Command’, ‘1st Infantry Division’ and ‘Ranger Tab’ etc.
