The Unit Season 3
Second season of ‘The Unit‘ was a big hit and series returned with third season on September 25, 2007, not making its viewers to wait too much. Season opener was entitled ‘Pandemonium, Part 1′. In this episode, Jonas who was still in hiding met Mariana, a CIA operative, we saw in the second season. Mack and Hector were still imprisoned. Bob was in Mexico. Meanwhile, Colonel Ryan decided to get the team back together. Second episode was entitled ‘Pandemonium, Part 2′. In this episode, we saw Jonas, Bob and Charles back in Washington. It became their ultimate mission to locate the person responsible for the breaking up of the Unit so they can clear their reputation. On the base, Kim worked behind the scenes to keep the CIA away from the other wives. Then came the episode ‘Always Kiss Them Goodbye’. This was the episode when we saw The Unit back once again and ready to take their next assignments. A VX nerve agent bomb had been stolen from a nearby military arsenal and they’re supposed to locate the stolen bomb. Jonas and Molly planned to spend time together. Mack is ordered by Ryan to move to the BEQ. Kim’s attempt to start a military talk show made her to deal with a crisis. In ‘Every Step You Take’, the team including Bob, Mack and Hector traveled to Abidjan to rescue embassy personnel and their wives. Their mission was to take them out of the endangered area. On the base, Jonas discovered his daughter’s interest to enlist in the army and he took her on a trip so that she can be prepared enough. In the next episode entitled ‘Inside Out’, a computer chip, containing information on undercover agents within terrorist networks, had been stolen and the Unit was supposed to retrieve it. Kim’s doctor suggested her complete bed rest. Tiffy was kicked out of her teaching job and she joined a bar in order to make the ends meet. Next episode was entitled ‘MPs’ where Jonas, Mack and Grey were seen protecting a pop star who was on a trip to Iraq. Bob’s assignment was to return a prisoner to his home country for execution. Williams went on a date with a waitress to the bar where Tiffy worked and he came to know about her affair with Colonel Ryan. In ‘Five Brothers’, we saw the team on a mission in Beirut. Mission was to rescue a kidnapped reporter and it resulted as the most threatening task where Grey was shot and Hector was killed. On the base, a man whom Tiffy met at her job towed her car and the women stood up by her to protect her. Eighth episode of third season was entitled ‘Play 16′. In this episode, Jonas went on a solo mission to locate the leader of the group who was responsible for William Hector’s death.
Charles was recovering in the hospital. Bob was the one who was tasked to deal with the rescued journalist. On the other hand, Mack took the task to arrange Hector’s funeral preparations. In ‘Binary Explosion’, the team worked to bring out the members responsible for the stealing of explosives and weapons of army. Meanwhile, football players who caused Tiffy to met an auto accident were hunted down by Mack and Colonel Ryan. Next episode was entitled ‘Gone Missing’. Here, we saw a troubled Bob who had visions of people he killed during his missions and it made him to disagree with team’s mission. Tiffy and Kim received a little knowledge about Molly’s past and they decided to go into the depth of the matter. Season finale was entitled ‘Side Angel Side’ and it was aired on December 18, 2007. In the season ender, we saw Jonas in London helping an agent, where he discovered the correlation between a Russian uranium dealer and his old friend. Things got complicated when Jonas discovered that agent’s wife is one whom he had been previously engaged. On other hand, Bob got promoted to Sergeant First Class and Charles was seen dealing with his own dilemma.
Season’s Top Ranked Episode- ‘Five Brothers’
The team was on a mission in Beirut in order to rescue a kidnapped reporter. It resulted as the most threatening task in which Grey was shot and Hector was killed and team had its biggest loss. On the base, a man whom Tiffy met at her job towed her car and the women on the base stood up by her to protect her.
