The Unit Season 4
‘The Unit‘ returned with fourth season on September 28, 2008 and is currently running with it. In this season, a new member was introduced to the team. Season opener was entitled ‘Sacrifice’. In this episode, we saw that the team had completed its five months long assignment. Their next mission was to protect the president elect and vice president elect from being assassinated. On the base, the women of the Unit were asked to leave the base when it was suspected that their husbands’ mission might be threatening for them. Second episode of the season was entitled ‘Sudden Fight’. Here, the team members were seen hunting the man who ordered the assassination of the president elect and vice president elect. And, also they’re following a scientist on the way to Argentina to South Africa. Later, the plan was hijacked and it was suspected that the scientist might be the next target. On the base, Kim and Bob’s baby got ill when the rest were trying to adjust to their new lives. Third episode was entitled ‘Sex Trade’. Here, we saw the team in Kosovo investigating the one responsible for the smuggling of nuclear weapons. On base, Kim started her job as an in-home nanny. Tiffy began working as a teacher at a local school. Next episode was entitled ‘The Conduit’. Here, we saw Bob and Mack dealing with their work related troubles. Bob was undercover as a scientist after a drugs cartel kidnapped him and wanted him to help to disguise cocaine. Mack was undercover as a prizefighter. Then, came the episode entitled ‘Dancing Lessons’. In this episode, a dying nuclear scientist refused to reveal the information about an imminent terrorist attack until his family is rescued in Mexico. On the base, Jonas was seen working on a covert operation along with the wives of Unit members. In ‘Inquisition’- the team produces a fake evidence of an attack to a terrorist in order to make him believe that the attack had already happened.
It all was done to make him give up his accomplices. Mack wanted Tiffy to reveal the details of her relationship with Ryan. Next episode was entitled ‘Into Hell, Part 1′- we saw that Jonas’ daughter Betsy, who was in Iraq got kidnapped and team’s mission was to rescue her. It got intricate and Colonel Ryan joined the team to help them out. On the other hand, Mack had intentions to take revenge on Ryan because of his affair with his wife, Tiffy. Then, came the episode entitled ‘Into Hell, Part 2′. In ‘Shadow Riders’, the team tried to maintain peace between two Afghanistan tribes by making a bride meet her groom and by going through enemy territory. On the other hand, Bob and Kim investigated a man who was supposed to have a connection with the terrorists. Next episode was ‘Mislead and Misguided’. Here the team was seen dealing with a political official who’s of thinking that his high tech gadgetry is better than field logic when they’re tasked to foray into an anthrax lab in Uzbekistan. On the base, Kim’s boss asked her to help him cover up a murder and she found herself in dilemma. Eleventh episode of fourth season was entitled ‘Switchblade’. In this episode, a somehow mysterious woman was seen at Aerodyne headquarters. Kim reunited with her kids. It is the latest aired episode of the season, aired on December 21, 2008. Next episodes will be aired during 2009. Upcoming episodes are ‘Bad Beat’ and ‘The Spear of Destiny’. In ‘Bas Beat’, we’ll see Jonas playing a game of Baccarat with a CIA agent and bet will be that if Jonas will win, agent will help them in their next mission. Jonas will win and team will work with the agent. ‘The Spear of Destiny’- Mack will be on a mission with Jonas and would get injured badly. His severe condition will make them to take shelter in a monastery. Bob will be assigned to a dangerous mission and it’d make Kim to understand the hard side of his profession.
